These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Tywyn Holidays for Four Degrees West and Venedotia, Tywyn, Gwynedd. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.
1. The Booking
- The lead guest must be at least 21 years of age and must be present throughout the stay.
- Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Only guests named on the booking form may use the property.
- Sub-letting or use of the property for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
2. Payment
- A deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required to confirm your reservation.
- A refundable security deposit of £150 is required and will be returned within 7 days of departure, subject to the property being left in good order.
- The balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the booking being cancelled without refund of the deposit.
3. Cancellation
- More than 90 days before arrival: 25% of total cost charged
- 60–90 days before arrival: 50% of total cost charged
- 30–60 days before arrival: 75% of total cost charged
- 2–30 days before arrival: 90% of total cost charged
- Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% of total cost charged
We strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: from 4:00pm on your arrival date.
- Check-out: by 10:00am on your departure date.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement.
5. Property Rules
- Both properties are strictly pet-free.
- Smoking is not permitted inside either property.
- Guests must not cause nuisance or disturbance to neighbours.
- The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
- Any damage to the property, fixtures or fittings beyond normal wear and tear must be reported immediately and may be charged against the security deposit.
6. Owner's Right of Entry
The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for inspection or emergency maintenance, giving as much notice as possible.
7. Liability
Tywyn Holidays accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained by guests during their stay, except where caused by our negligence. Guests use the property, its equipment and the surrounding area at their own risk.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions) that prevent use of the property, we will endeavour to offer an alternative date or a credit note.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
