We stayed for a week and had an amazing time, nice clean and well throughout apartment, easy to find and perfect location from the high street and train station ( literally 5 minutes from the train station), fantastic views from the bedroom and listening to the waves on a night was so relaxing. Beds were comfortable, had to laugh when we heard a slight bang, went in and my husband had he's legs up on the air cause 2 slats had gone through ( not broken,he sat in a silly position 😂). Highly recommend the apartment.
We had a four night break in May and very pleasant it was too. The apartment was clean and tidy and had a useful number of utensils for cooking yourself. The WiFi was handy for checking out local things to do. Nice seafront position and a short walk to the centre of town. There is an exceptional restaurant there called the Salt Marsh Kitchen. We would definitely like to visit again.
A well appointed property with many thoughtful touches, such as the seaside themed children's room and the hearts and butterflies in the main bedroom. There are lovely views over the mountains from the lounge, and it's lovely to open the bedroom blind in the morning and see the sea! The owner is very helpful and the guidance provided on using the equipment in the apartment, local amenities etc. is detailed and useful. We had a really enjoyable stay.
This apartment is a great place to stay in Tywyn. It is comfortable, homely and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has plenty of equipment if you want cook at home.
The owner Paula is very helpful, she got back to me quickly when I contacted her and made booking process painless.
I would definitely stay at this charming apartment again.
I cannot rate these apartments enough!
Right on the sea front, and only a stones throw from the lovely quiet town.
The views from the apartment are unbeleavable! You can literally throw a stone into the sea from the front door !!
Some of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen from the apartment Too !Especially last year when we stayed for the second time the beginning of October! My uncle passed away on the Sunday we were there , and I sat on the bench outside the apartment on the sea front and the whole sky was red like fire ! I've never seen anything quite like it and I'll never forget it as long as I live ! Just WOW! Trem Enlli is like a hidden treasure! Im so glad I found you 🙂 I wished I'd have found you a long time ago .
Couldnt ask for better owners either! Always there if you need them anything, I travelled on my own on the train with my 3 boys and there was a brilliant welcome book with all the local to do's in (even some secret hidden gems!)
I cannot recommend both apartments enough! I will be coming back for years to come! Already booked my next stay !xxx
We stayed in Flat 17 over Oct half term. The flat is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy, and lounge so cosy with the fire on! Great views of the hills from the lounge, and out to sea from the bedrooms. It was great to walk out the door and be right on the seafront. We will defintely be using Paula's apartments again.
Clean and well maintained apartment. Kitchen contained everything we needed and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Only wanted 3 nights, which just happened to be available. Paula kept in contact to check all was OK, which was a nice touch. We hope to go back sometime.
We stayed in no. 17 on Sunday and Monday nights, which a lot of places won't let you do, so thanks Paula for being so flexible. We loved the apartment, which is tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. Also the manual was informative, and everything was easy to use. The shower and WI-FI were great. It was lovely staying so close to the sea, and hearing the waves crashing whilst lying in bed. We also enjoyed walking along the seafront, and visiting the Talyllyn Railway. We had a lovely relaxing break, and I would definitely recommend this apartment.
What can I say, The apartment is beautiful. Equipped with everything you could need. Comfy beds, cozy living room, and the sky light in the bathroom is lovely. Location is fantastic. a stones throw from the beach (literally) Mrs Ratcliffe was so helpful with advice on things to do in the area and there really are some little gems hiding away right on the door step. Really looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. XxxNatalie WOLVERHAMPTON
just a thankyou for a great long weekend stay in your beautiful flat paula.. so clean, spotless, sea views too, everything there you could want, all facilities, including WI-FI an in a most difficult reception area, found surrounding area , with tywyn hight st in easy 10 min walking , .. beach within 10 sec, that close,... found Both tywyn an aberdovey have good restaurants too... all in all a great place flat, with many good food places, an brilliant local walks, hope to return again, .. thank you paula you have reason to be proud .
Just what the doctor ordered...the flat was bootiful inside an out...Wales always has a special place in my heart an its been a longtime since I visited until Paula kindly Lent me use the apartment, the price was amazing the sea gorgeous an everything felt content..I really hope to return back soon.
Rented No. 17 as we were attending the International Sheepdog Trials in Tywyn. The position was excellent right on the seafront with spectacular views from the back of the apartment of Cader Idris and to the front the sea. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable and although only a short stay we had everything we could want. Parking was easy and as we had two cars one parked in the residents car park and there was always parking outside on the front for the other car. The only down side that you should be aware off is that the apartment is at the top of the building with two quite steep flights of stairs and then a further smaller flight of stairs once inside the apartment. This would present no problem for younger guests but would present problems if there were walking issues. After the three days we stayed definitely felt we had benefitted from our climb though! Paula kept in contact and a big thank you to the person who brought my mobile phone to the trial field which I had left in the apartment. Thank you for a good stay
Hi Lynne, I will pass your thank you for the return of the mobile phone on to Erika. She was quick to contact us when she found it whilst cleaning the apartment; we let her know where you were likely to be; and she did the rest. Thank you Erika!
I stayed in Paula's apartment (no 18) with my husband and 2 children. We found it very comfortable and clean with fantastic views.Paula was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and during it.Highly recommend and we would stay again 😊
Stayed for a week in this lovely appartment,it was very clean and paula was on hand for any queries. Location was perfect for all your needs. I dont think i could ever get tired of looking out at the sea from bedroomwimdow
Just returned from our stay in Tywyn. Apartment was very lovely, very clean with everything we needed. It is in a brilliant location for Tywyn and surrounding area. Paula is a fabulous lady providing lots of invaluable information and truly felt well looked after. Highly recommend
We stayed in Paulas apartment for a week in August for our family holiday and did not want to leave anymore. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and homely and is located centrally in Tywyn, so whatever you need is just around the corner (shops/train station/beach/playground/...).Paula is lovely and was very helpful from the first contact via email and send us very detailed information on what to do in Tywyn and even send us updates on new activities while we were on holiday. She was always quick to reply if there was any question from us.If coming by car, there is parking available, but even by train it is simply a short walk and the surroundings can be explored by public transport. If you are looking for a holiday in Tywyn you cant go wrong in choosing Paula!
We've holidayed in the area for many years but never stayed in Tywyn itself. We found the apartment to be perfectly placed for everything we wanted to do, on the sea front and just a few minutes walk to shops and the train station. We found the apartment to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean, we're used to staying in a caravan so being able to walk around the very comfortable bed without grazing our shins was a bonus! And a bathroom not a cupboard! We will definitely be back soon 🙂
I stayed in this apartment with my husband and adult son in July 2016. It is well maintained and clean with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. The heating is easy to control and we were cosy and warm on the cold, wet days. The shower is hot with the option of a soak in the bath welcome after a day's walking. The beds were extremely comfortable, as was the seating in the lounge. The TV has a good range of channels and the Wifi worked with no problems. We heard no noise at all from neighbours. The communal entrance and stairs were immaculate and well maintained. The apartment is well situated on the prom and just a couple of minutes walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking was never an issue. We managed to park on the street at the front door every day, but even at peak holiday times there is the option of using the private parking at the rear, or the prom car-park.I've been visiting family in Tywyn all my life and these are our favourite activities for the week...walk along the beach 4 miles to Aberdovey for breakfast or lunch at the Medina Coffee House. Walk, bus or train back. Have an evening meal at The Proper Gander restaurant on Tywyn High Street, which has an amazing vegetarian menu. The best I've seen in 40 years of eating veggie meals. Their fish and meat dishes are equally excellent. Go to Tywyn Cinema. Lovely old licenced picture house and you can take a drink into the film. Ride the Talyllyn Railway, get off and walk round Dolgoch Falls. Eat at the Tywyn Indian restaurants. They are both very good. Do not leave without trying the Tywyn Butter Buns available at the Tywyn Bakery by the war memorial. They freeze well!
Had a great week in this apartment, ideally placed for my week working on the Talylynn railway. Super clean and comfy, will definitely be staying again.
Enjoyed a weekend break in Tywyn. The flat is comfortable and clean. The communication from Paula was great. Wished we could have stayed longer! Tywyn is a bit of a favourite so we will likely be back.
Clean, comfortable and well maintained apartment, well equiped with a lovely homely feel. Good views, excellent postion. Made daily use of excellent local outdoor sports activities. Walked along the beach to Aberdovey where we enjoyed a pub lunch, beach time and crabbing off the pier - returned by train. Drove to Fairbourne, fantastic beach and walked up to the the Blue Lake; also enjoyed the Dolgoch Falls walk. Towyn is a lovely small town with everything you need including a regular Monday market - unfortunaterly, the fantastic hot weather meant we didn't get to the quaint looking cinema, maybe next time. The little steam trains were great to see and the local Honey icecream was amazing. Paula communicated well prior, during and post holiday. Would definitely recommend to others.
What a lovely and comfortable apartment. Paula (owner) couldn't be more helpful. Always responded to emails and texts promptly even while we were on our holiday. Tywyn is a lovely place to visit with a train station just minutes from apartment if you don't drive, which we didn't. We went to Barmouth and pwhelli train was reasonably priced too. We had amazing weather which always helps. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and gave my auntie the details to stay here
Great location and lovely apartment. The guide to the area is amazing and we tried the waterfalls and blue lagoon which were fabulous. The waterfalls were even better during the heavy rainfall we had and would recommend going there during heavy storms as the water falls are unbelievable.Great time away and already enquiringly about going back in the next few weeks.
nice place very clean and tidy went riding on my bike down the coastal roads lovely weather could not fault the place will be coming back soon
We had a great weekend over Easter in flat 18, it was home from home great views from all the windows and the beds are so comfortable. As a family we all really enjoyed the holidays and will be returning again soon, loved being able to walk along the beach and playing mini golf.thaks for a great holiday.
lovely apartment no 17 ,lovely and clean ,lovely and cosy ,and nice sea views, defanitly book it again x
Booked a 5 night break for half term, for 2 adults 3 children in flat 18. Booking was easy and Paula even sent cinema listings the week before we went and looked at discount prices for tallylyn railway. Flat was very clean and well equipped. Lovely that 3rd bed was not a wobbly camp bed but a proper trundle bed so all 3 kids were comfy. The heaters were all welcoming and heated the rooms quickly and made it really cosy. All the rooms were well equipped for a comfortable self catering stay. Welcome information was spot on. Have already recommended to a friend and would stay again in a heartbeat, only negative is there are beams in each room and slanting roof so not for the very tall!! thanks Paula.
Flat 18 has everything you need for a cozy relaxing stay, fantastic views of both sea and mountains. Comfortable, clean and all the essential cooking equipment should you need it. Paula was very helpful and kept in touch, providing information she thought we might be interested in.
Spent new year in flat 17, fantastic. Spotless , comfy with great views of the sea and hills. Great base for exploring the area. Paula was great from taking our booking to us leaving.
We were so pleased when we found this place & were able to book. We really needed this break & just needed to get away but we could never have imagined a place like this. It is beautiful, homely and just the perfect getaway. Our children were comfortable, we had plenty of space, the scenery was amazing even in the winter weather. We have not been as relaxed as we were last week for a long time. The first thing I notice (owning my own cleaning company) is how clean the place is and believe me this house is top notch! Not a bad word to say & now we are home and looking back over the pictures we have a lovely warm memory of our time in Tywyn.Paula made everything so simple and stress free for us (and with 3 children under 10 every little helps) she put up some Christmas decorations so when we walked in the children were amazed. We will never forget our Christmas in Tywyn and hope to return soon. Thanks again Love the Beardsley familyX
Thanks Paula for letting us use #17 for a short stay last weekend, while visiting family in Tywyn. The flat really was very nice and ideal for our needs. It was nice to have the kids talk to us for a few days (don't get Wi-Fi). Looking forward to using the facilities again in the near future.
Had a fab week, the flat was warm, cosy and well equipped with everything that we needed! The beach opposite, was lovely and clean, my 3yr old Great Grandaughter just loved it, also the Playpark next door! The views from the windows were fantastic, sea views one side, hills the other, We were very fortunate with the sunny weather, being the last week in October! Had days out in Barmouth, Machynleth and Aberystwth , where we went to the Butterfly House, which we all loved,! Local Co-op had everything we needed for self catering, and the local chippy in the Hight St, was smashing! Thankyou Paula , we really enjoyed staying at your lovely flat, and I am sure we will be back, xx
This is such a lovely apartment and is fully equipped. I have a "going away" box that I take with me, with things like sharp knives, tin foil, serving spoons etc. I could have left this at home, as everything you could possibly need is provided for you in this apartment. The location just cannot be beaten. Right on the sea front and a wonderful, clean, beach. There is so much do to and see in the area - particularly recommend The Blue Lake, which is wonderful, and well worth the arduous climb to get to it. The little railway in Tywyn is lovely, and worth a visit.Paula is a lovely lady, and went all out to help and to ensure that we had a lovely stay. Mission accomplished. With so much to see and do, we couldn't possibly fit it all in in one stay, and so we will definitely be back again.
We all had a fabulous time staying at no 18 Trem Enlli apartment in Tywyn. The apartment was a real home from home, clean, tidy, cosy, warm and has everything you needed for a self catering holiday right next to the beach (literally!). The views from the rooms are brilliant and you have the lovely sounds of the sea. Paula is great to deal with, extremly helpful and very prompt with her text replies should you need any help. Thank you Paula for letting us stay in your beautiful 2nd home.
? The Browns.?? X
Lovely apartment. If you have children they will love the design of children's bedroom. Master bedroom great as well. Right on seafront listen to the waves as you sleep or close them out by shutting the window .roomy lounge well equipped kitchen. A pleasure to deal with Paula the owner fast response to any questions. Easy payment system by bank transfer. Dont forget to check for bt hotspot as it's available in the apartment and very fast non bt customers just pay a small fee. Ok so down side...... None. We were aware of stairs. So they don't count. A great place to stay. Try the refreshments at the mini railway station. Reasonable and good
Overall a great place to stay
A lovely apartment in a great location. Spacious well kept apartment. Even kept my 12 year old daughter amused for the week. Only thing is the stairs but kept us fit for a week. The owners are brilliant to deal with no problems surrounding booking or keys at all.
Just had a fantastic week away staying in Tywyn. Lovely
Apartment which had everything we needed. Felt like home from home. Perfect place to stay and explore the area and wow what a view from the apartment. Lovely sunsets
Will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend the apartment.
Outstanding apartment with the most beautiful scenery surrounding it. So much to see and do every day was full of adventures. Thanks for allowing us to stay =)
The apartment was lovely with an old cozy feel everything we needed was provided, its like a home from home only with much better views, very good value for money. We will defiantly be booking again ????
This is a great apartment, warm, light, well equipped, comfortable, homely so what else would you need...oh yes views and yes it has those too. Paula the owner has been first class and very efficient with all she has done. great value for money and well worth booking.
Great place to stay. Everything you need. Love the view from bedroom and listening to the sea.lovely to be able to leave the car safely. Lots of walks. Will be going back.
Lovely place, lovely views what more can you want. Loved the decor, quirky little apartment. Thanks again Paula
Fabulous views over the ocean from the bedroom, perfect weather and comfy surroundings. Only problem I had (being unfit) is the stairs but I managed it and it was worth it. Just a shame we had to cut the holiday short due to my bad back. Loved Tywyn clean quite and fab!
Great views and opposite the sea great apartment what more can you ask for hope to return again

This apartment Is in a stunning location. Tywyn is a wonderful place to visit. Views of the sea and the mountains couldn't ask for better scenery. The apartment is very well equipped everything you need for a hassle free holiday. Paula txt us to find out if we arrived safely and also wen we got back home. Thank you Paula for letting stay.
Had a lovely stay for Christmas week. What a lovely appartment, cosy, warm and homely. Had everything you could wish for in the accommodation and the Christmas card and welcome was a nice touch. Views beautiful and made the stairs worth while. We had a great Christmas and will be back next year. Happy new year to you both and thanks
This was our first stay and we really couldn't have asked for more, the weather was wonderful and the flat is comfortable with all you will need for your stay. It was fantastic to fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up to the beautiful views of the bay.
There is so much to see and do in the area that you could easily do something different every day, but as the weather was so good we walked on the beach and stayed around the town except for a day trip to Barmouth. I can also recommend the Electric Cinema in the high street as any cinema you can take a double JD over ice in with you while you watch the film gets my vote!!!!
This will certainly not be our last visit.
A november weekend stay - very warm for the time of year - didn't want to come home.
Cosy and comfortable, still had lots to do and see.
Take a drive to the beach the other side of Borth - you will find some lovely shells there!
We stayed oct/mov 2014 and couldn't of asked for anything more! There was still lots to do and places to go. We especially enjoyed the haunted train ride and the arcade Halloween party as recommended. The apartment was stunning, comfortable, cosy with added extras like games for the kids, DVDs and salt and pepper!!! Can not recommend enough! Thank you!!!
