Lovely little gem of an apartment in beautiful Tywyn.

A fab week spent in a lovely apartment in Tywyn. Sea views from the bedroom and mountain views from the living room. Plenty of space in the apartment, but cosy at the same time. Comfy bed, everything we needed, clean and warm. Lovely helpful owner. To be recommended.

Lovely Tywyn

We really enjoyed Tywyn, a small seaside town with lots of fabulous amenities. The apartment was great, being right on the seafront and within walking distance of everything we needed. Instructions and information from Paula outstanding and would welcome the opportunity to visit Tywyn again in the future.

Wales 2019

We all had a great time staying in Tywyn. We have never been to Wales before and were blown away with how beautiful it is. Tywyn is a lovely place and we really enjoyed our time there. Paula’s property was the perfect base for our week there! We definitely will be returning to Wales. Thank you Paula for having us!

Great apartment

We stayed for 6 nights, great location, beautiful beach right on the doorstep, good shower, comfy beds, loads of parking, coop within walking distance. Winner all round!

Warm, clean, comfy holiday home

We stayed here for 3 nights in May, the weather was sunny but cold, we found the flat to be warm & cosy, the heating blasted out the heat & the fire was so homely.

Comfy clean beds, light airy & modern. Well decorated & the kitchen was well equipped too!

Friendly neighbours & well kept building.

All in all a wonderful 3 night break.

Paula is a very kind & attentive host, would recommend the flat to anyone looking to relax & unwind in warm modern clean surroundings. A perfect base for exploring the beautiful area of Twywn.

Nice apartment on the seafront

We found the apartment to be as advertised: a 3rd floor apartment (stairs only) with two bedrooms. My wife and I stayed there for a week for a quiet vacation and had an very good time.

Tywyn is a pretty good centre for visiting central Wales and there are also plenty of walks around the town if you don't want to drive. We were there in blackberry season and picked (and later cooked and ate!) about a kilo of blackberries on one walk.

The narrow gauge railway is a big draw and we rode the rails a couple of times (we have family involved in running the railway) and also hiked up and around the track.

There are shops about 10 minutes walk away, but Tywyn is not a major town so don't expect big shopping malls!

The only other thing to mention about the apartment is that it is on the top floor and some of the roof beams get very close to your head at times if you are a tall person (like me). No real problem, but be careful!

Overall a very good time and we would recommend this apartment to others.

Very comfortable and homely seafront apartment

Lovely apartment set right on the seafront. Beautiful views of the sea and hills from both sides. Perfect location, easily accessible for the train station {especially for those of us who don't drive). Spacious, clean and tidy with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. I was only there for four nights but wish I could have stayed longer, as I was so comfortable. I have never experienced anywhere with such great communications before, during and after my stay, as I did from Paula. She is very kind, helpful and welcoming and both Paula and her husband have set up the perfect online information pack about Tywyn, the surrounding areas and places of interest, which really helped me plan my trip ahead. A hard copy can also be found inside, along with useful leaflets and full instructions on how to use everything in the apartment This is most helpful too, and seldom to be found elsewhere! Many thanks Paula for an enjoyable holiday. I will certainly be back!

Great weekend

Stayed here recently and found everything to be excellent . The owners pre stay information made things go smoothly and the property was superb value for money overlooking the sea.

Small but perfectly formed!

A lovely little apartment right on the seafront. A few minutes walk to the main Street. Everything you need is there in the apartment for your stay. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished. Owner was in touch regularly with helpful information about the apartment and surrounding area. Will definitely book again and would recommend.

Great Holiday

Really enjoyed the stay....very quiet and peaceful...yards from the sea...short drive to many lovely places and amenities close by. Walk from apartment to Aberdyfi fantastic if you are up for a couple of hours walking...walk back or get the train. Apartment lovely and clean and has all you need for a seaside stay....would book again.

Great location, lovely little apartment

Wonderful location. Right by the beach, and an easy journey to the southern part of Snowdonia. The sea, with dolphins, out of one window; the hills, with Cader Idris, out of the other.

Lovely little apartment, well equipped. Host very helpful, her advice made the stay even more enjoyable. (Perhaps the best information pack we've ever seen, and fantastic to receive it before arrival.)

Tywyn is a lovely little town, excellent chippy, great little cinema.

We hope to return, and would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit this area.

Enjoyable stay at the seafront

We enjoyed staying in the appartment. Although not mentioned in the description we hoped the balcony ( on one of the pictures) was part of the appartment, got fooled by the pictures of the stairs and came to the wrong conclusion. You can however sit outside across the street for that reason it would have been nice to find some folding chairs to take outside. Bedding was clean and an extra set was available if you would like to change it during your stay. Kitchen is equipped to cook some simple meals, crockery is basic.

The owner is quick at answering your questions. She also sent us a video of dolphins that were spotted from Tywyn beach and we were lucky to see them ourselves a couple of days later.

All in all a we spent a very enjoyable time in this very friendly accomodation.

Disappointing to a certain extent.

We found the low beams and sloping ceilings rather intrusive as we are both tall.

Tywyn Holiday

We all enjoyed our week back in Tywyn. Generally happy with the apartment and its sea front location, and enjoyed having a fair amount of space to live in. Niggles are minor but since we did use the kitchen, what about lids for saucepans and microwave cooking dishes? Tv was ok but could easily confuse some folk as not only does it loose its "source" but the sat box turns itself off on power up!. This may sound daft but we found how to open the skylights on the last day!( never used one before) Being careful and not wanting to break anything we clicked the release once - it takes two clicks to work.! Would be a useful note in the guide as it was a hot week.!! But overall would recommend to anyone! Ray, Tina and Sally .

Hi Ray, Thanks for leaving a review. The saucepans should all have had lids. Will be checking where these have gone. However, I will be replacing all the pots & pans shortly which will remedy this concern. Point taken about the TV. Will get this sorted. And I have already amended the Welcome Pack with your suggestion regarding the skylight. Regards, Paula

Just lovely

Just got back from a lovely stay here. From the moment we sent an enquiry Paula answered all our queries and ensured there was no hassle with all infirmation being provided before arrival. The flat was very well equipped it had absolutely everything we needed and was veey spacious for our family of 5! Location was perfect right on the sea front and a park next door with a few minutes walk to shops and cafe.
We all had a great time and with lots to do in the area we will be returning in the future.

Tywyn break.

A fabulous apartment. Right on the sea front, ideal for the beach and local amenities. A real home from home.

A great place to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in No 18 at the end of June. We found the apartment to be clean and spacious with everything we needed. The beds are comfortable, the shower is good and the views are terrific. Well worth walking up the flights of stairs. There is plenty of choice for parking the car and you are just a few seconds walk from the beach. We didn't try any of the local restaurants as we were visiting friends and spent most of our time with them.
I would definitely recommend staying here and will be returning again.

Nice, Clean Accomodation

The apartment I usually stay at in Tywyn was already booked but luckily I found this one nearby. From my first contact with the owner, Paula, until I arrived home she was very helpful and informative. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the High Street, the station, the supermarket and the Talyllyn Railway. I normally eat in the good restaurants in the town but owing to a medical problem I had to eat in the apartment, everything I required for this was there and clean. The apartment was clean and well equipt with a comfortable bed. The only drawback is that it is on the third floor but the steps are not too steep. My advice is to look at the locations of the light switches on the stairways as early as possible and do not leave it until it is dark.

Perfect Stay in Tywyn

We had a great time in Tywyn and enjoyed a nice and beautifull flat with perfect service when we had any questions/problems. -Hope to be back in the coming years!

by jennifer l. on Tywyn Holidays
the apartment was very clean, tidy and welcoming. it had everything we needed and more.

although I found the tv difficult to use my daughter soon worked it out. It was nice to see lots of information about the area in the info pack.
It took us a while to find the light switch to the stairs but soon got the hang of them I think this was because we were tired after the journey. We would certainly use this apartment again and pass on the info to friends coming to Tywyn

Very comfortable 2 bed apartment right on the sea-front

Very nicely decorated and furnished apartment. The double bed was really comfortable, it felt like it had a modern memory-foam mattress. If you keep the bedroom window open a little, you get the soothing sounds of the waves breaking through the night. I've been a chronic insomniac for about 20 years and had the best 3 nights sleep here that I've had in a long time!

Plenty of off-street parking at the rear of the property and also free on-street parking out the front. Easy to walk in to town and takes seconds to get on to the promenade for a morning jog or stroll...

Perfect location

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a perfect holiday. The location could not have been better, a stones throw from the beach, and the views from the bedroom were outstanding, especially the lovely sunsets. We would highly recommend this apartment as somewhere to stay on a visit to Tywyn and would love to visit again.

Cosy apartment with fantastic views!

Cosy apartment with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. First visit to Wales and we were totally blown away firstly with the views and then when we got to the apartment with the position of it - at the front looking out to the beach and sea - to the back the rolling mountains. The apartment was very clean and tidy - very welcoming and cosy. There is plenty for the kids to do in Tywyn with the play park at the back and the beach at the front. Paula also provided a folder with points of local interest and the best ways to get there. Very useful! All in all we have had a fantastic week and will definitely be returning.

The perfect beach getaway

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time, nice clean and well throughout apartment, easy to find and perfect location from the high street and train station ( literally 5 minutes from the train station), fantastic views from the bedroom and listening to the waves on a night was so relaxing. Beds were comfortable, had to laugh when we heard a slight bang, went in and my husband had he's legs up on the air cause 2 slats had gone through ( not broken,he sat in a silly position 😂). Highly recommend the apartment.

Very nice stay in Tywyn

We had a four night break in May and very pleasant it was too. The apartment was clean and tidy and had a useful number of utensils for cooking yourself. The WiFi was handy for checking out local things to do. Nice seafront position and a short walk to the centre of town. There is an exceptional restaurant there called the Salt Marsh Kitchen. We would definitely like to visit again.

Lovely views, well cared for apartment

A well appointed property with many thoughtful touches, such as the seaside themed children's room and the hearts and butterflies in the main bedroom. There are lovely views over the mountains from the lounge, and it's lovely to open the bedroom blind in the morning and see the sea! The owner is very helpful and the guidance provided on using the equipment in the apartment, local amenities etc. is detailed and useful. We had a really enjoyable stay.

This apartment is a great place to stay in Tywyn. It is comfortable, homely and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has plenty of equipment if you want cook at home.

I would definitely stay at this charming apartment again.

3rd Visit already booked !!

I cannot rate these apartments enough!

Right on the sea front, and only a stones throw from the lovely quiet town.

The views from the apartment are unbeleavable! You can literally throw a stone into the sea from the front door !!

Some of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen from the apartment Too !Especially last year when we stayed for the second time the beginning of October! My uncle passed away on the Sunday we were there , and I sat on the bench outside the apartment on the sea front and the whole sky was red like fire ! I've never seen anything quite like it and I'll never forget it as long as I live ! Just WOW! Trem Enlli is like a hidden treasure! Im so glad I found you 🙂 I wished I'd have found you a long time ago .

Couldnt ask for better owners either! Always there if you need them anything, I travelled on my own on the train with my 3 boys and there was a brilliant welcome book with all the local to do's in (even some secret hidden gems!)

I cannot recommend both apartments enough! I will be coming back for years to come! Already booked my next stay !xxx

Superb apartment

We stayed in Flat 17 over Oct half term. The flat is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy, and lounge so cosy with the fire on! Great views of the hills from the lounge, and out to sea from the bedrooms. It was great to walk out the door and be right on the seafront. We will defintely be using Paula's apartments again.

Relaxing holiday

We stayed in no. 17 on Sunday and Monday nights, which a lot of places won't let you do, so thanks Paula for being so flexible. We loved the apartment, which is tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. Also the manual was informative, and everything was easy to use. The shower and WI-FI were great. It was lovely staying so close to the sea, and hearing the waves crashing whilst lying in bed. We also enjoyed walking along the seafront, and visiting the Talyllyn Railway. We had a lovely relaxing break, and I would definitely recommend this apartment.

What can I say, The apartment is beautiful. Equipped with everything you could need. Comfy beds, cozy living room, and the sky light in the bathroom is lovely. Location is fantastic. a stones throw from the beach (literally) Mrs Ratcliffe was so helpful with advice on things to do in the area and there really are some little gems hiding away right on the door step. Sheepdog Trialing with a View

Rented No. 17 as we were attending the International Sheepdog Trials in Tywyn. The position was excellent right on the seafront with spectacular views from the back of the apartment of Cader Idris and to the front the sea. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable and although only a short stay we had everything we could want. Parking was easy and as we had two cars one parked in the residents car park and there was always parking outside on the front for the other car. The only down side that you should be aware off is that the apartment is at the top of the building with two quite steep flights of stairs and then a further smaller flight of stairs once inside the apartment. This would present no problem for younger guests but would present problems if there were walking issues. After the three days we stayed definitely felt we had benefitted from our climb though! Paula kept in contact and a big thank you to the person who brought my mobile phone to the trial field which I had left in the apartment. Thank you for a good stay

Hi Lynne, I will pass your thank you for the return of the mobile phone on to Julie. She was quick to contact us when she found it whilst cleaning the apartment; we let her know where you were likely to be; and she did the rest. Thank you Julie!
